With a passion for all things Marine Scott was awarded The Newly Certified Electrical Technician of the year from the BMEEA (British Marine Electrical and Electronics Association) To add to Scott’s land based electrical qualifications he is BMET (British Marine Electrical Technician) and a member of NMEA (National Marine Electronics Association) and is a certified Marine electronics Installer.
Scott designs and Installs all of our marine work and is never happier than when his office is a marina or canal! Scott has installed many systems on a variety of boats from Yachts to barges. After many years of being a master electrician, Scott became involved in the solar PV industry after gaining his City and Guilds qualification in installing photovoltaics at the Centre for Alternative Technology in 2010.
Since then Scott has installed close to a thousand PV systems both in the domestic and commercial sector. Scott has a great interest in domestic battery storage, and was involved in many industry firsts such as installing the first Tesla home battery in the UK. Scott has installed over 100 off-grid systems all over the UK, from Shepherds huts in Devon to large three phase commercial installations off the M1 in London.
Always keen to improve his knowledge of electrical production and distribution Scott has received training and certification in the Appreciation of Generator Principles & Protection Theory from the Faraday Centre.
